After their father’s death, Stacey agrees to accompany her estranged brother Thomas on one final fishing trip to Lake Pesares, a body of water tied to a childhood marked by trauma, neglect, and secrets they never fully confronted. But from the moment they launch the boat, Thomas is tense and evasive, insisting on being here today for reasons he refuses to explain.
When Thomas falls into the lake and resurfaces changed, his skin pale, his voice distorted, and strange filaments spreading across his body, Stacey’s unease turns to dread.
