PATRICK "PK" KOEPKE
Screenwriter, Dreamer, Seeker of Lost Truths
Patrick “PK” Koepke is a Texas-based screenwriter and award-nominated author with over 25 years of storytelling experience across novels, graphic novels, and screenplays. His work often explores themes of memory, isolation, hidden truths, and quiet heroism, grounded in a strong sense of place—particularly small-town Americana. He was a nominee for the Colorado Book Award in graphic novel writing, and most recently was a Quarterfinalist in the Dallas International Film Festival for his screenplay The Sword of the Celestial Dragon. PK’s writing blends character-driven stories with supernatural or speculative twists, and he is especially drawn to narratives that unfold like puzzles, inviting readers to discover deeper layers with each turn. A lifelong lover of ghost stories, unsolved mysteries, and local legends, PK’s goal is to craft emotionally rich genre films that linger in the audience’s mind long after the credits roll.

PK’s screenwriting portfolio includes a range of high-concept features across genres, from the mythic Wuxia epic The Sword of the Celestial Dragon to the survival horror story Myrmecia, and the atmospheric supernatural thriller The Hollow Shore. Each project reflects his fascination with layered storytelling, visual worldbuilding, and genre with heart. As a creative professional, he brings not only narrative depth but also decades of production experience, including music composition, editing, and design. His stories are grounded in human emotion, elevated by cinematic scale, and always anchored by characters searching for truth, purpose, or redemption. PK lives in Austin, Texas, where he continues to build a slate of emotionally driven, genre-forward screenplays aimed at producers, agents, and audiences looking for meaning behind the mystery.
